Dr. H. Shannon Hicks, DVM
Dr. Hicks was born in Houston, Texas. He grew up in Alvin, playing sandlot baseball with Nolan Ryan. Dr. Hicks graduated from Alvin High School in 1962. He received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1968.
Dr. Hicks operated a veterinary clinic specializing in equine medicine from 1968 to 1988. He treated both large and small animals until he opened Old Town Animal Hospital in Katy, Texas, in 1997.
